Cuneo Press regarding an initial trial printing run of 250,000 Luck Strike cigarette pack labels, which they hoped might eventually lead to future orders of 25-30 million labels a month. A two page letter includes two attached cigarette pack proof samples w/ detailed meticulous instructions,including changes to lettering, the circles on pack, etc. A second 1928 file letter includes lettering changes and attached red and black color reference samples. Lot also includes a 1926 letter from American Tobacco approving a trial run of 250,000 labels at a price of 70¢ per thousand labels.
