Adams Express Company Wooden Sign: Large, heavy, early framed wooden painted trade sign for Adams and Southern Express Co.’s Money Orders, w/ gilt lettering against dark sand paint background. Important piece of Western Americana that is all original and displays pretty well, w/ early break spot to upper right corner section of frame; with a well worn, weathered primitive surface finish, that includes expected age cracks and areas of wear from years of use, w/ a nice primitive country look (C. 7+/-).
