American Insurance Porcelain Sign: Early, heavy porcelain sign for American Insurance Co. (Newark, New Jersey). Clean and attractive appearance w/ nice surface sheen (a very strong C. 8+, w/ small chip spot at top edge), Close examination will reveal a little very minor roughness on right edge and a barely noticeable faint trace of spider web crazing in dark background area in bottom left area (non-graphic back side has some light scattered surface rusting).
