Product Description
Carr Farmers Grain Brokers Sign: Wonderful, very early, primitive wooden painted trade sign for Carr & Co., a Chicago, Illinois Board of Trade grain broker, asking Farmers to ship their grains and seeds to them. A powerful and impressive looking piece, w/ excellent patina to its untouched, all original mustard paint surface w/ black incised lettering and design, giving it a great primitive, country, folk art look (C. 8+). I’m told that this sign was found many years ago inside the walls of early Midwest train station-probably never used, as there are no nail holes present.

Size: 11.5 x 48.25
