Product Description
Diamond Dyes Sign: Very early, attractive tin litho insert sign from early dye cabinet for Well’s & Richardson Co.’s Diamond Dyes, featuring wonderful, highly detailed lithography of Fairy, cherubs, people using dye, etc. (Wells & Hope Lithographers). An attractive and quite respectable example, displays pretty well (as a strong C. 7+); w/ good color and nice overall look; although not for the perfectionist, as there are some scattered rub marks and light scuffs w/ some general age tone darkening and a nail hole in background. Would improve substantially w/ a little minor restoration.

Size: 27 x 21 (24 x 18 actual sign)
Date of Sale: 6/23/06
