Finzer’s Old Honesty Tobacco Sign: Large, very early paper litho sign for John Finzer Co.’s Old Honesty brand tobacco, featuring great image of Co.’s trademark eagle (Russell & Morgan Lithographers). Colors are strong and piece displays nicely, although close examination will show light fold lines as well as some non-offensive minor scattered wear (including a little tattering and light soiling in outer white margin area). Tough to grade but (C. 7.5/8-), seems about right (minor conservation/restoration could improve it to a near mint appearance).
