Hires Sign: Scarce, ca. 1915 tin litho advertising sign for Hires Root beer, featuring great image of soda jerk Josh Slinger. Not for the perfectionist, as there are scattered light dings, chipping spots and general light scattered background wear as well as some heat type darkening/staining in his white coat area (rates a C. 7+/-) although it actually still displays pretty well on wall w/ very strong colors and a reasonably nice overall appearance (a little light restoration would probably improve it to a C. 8/+ appearance).
