Peerless Tobacco Proofing Signs

Unusual set includes three different heavy paper litho progressive color printers proofing reference signs in matching frames for F. F. Adams Co.’s (Milwaukee, WI) “Peerless” brand tobacco. These include three different examples showing the two, three and four color strikes used in the printing process in the making of this sign, w/ workers original proofing reference notes in margins of each. Finished multicolor sign is clean, bright displays beautifully, w/ a couple touched up background tears at lower bottom corner (not at all detracting and appears to be a factory worker touchup done in making of this piece). Framed.
