Stunning, large, ca. 1880?s paper litho sign for Rumsey & Co.?s (Seneca Falls, NY) fire fighting equipment, featuring wonderful image of what was at the time the soon to be built statue of Liberty holding a water pump, w/ tiny fire fighters climbing ladders all over the statue (Rochester Lithographic Co.). Very high quality piece is clean, bright and excellent (C. 8.5/+), w/ minor soiling in outer white border area. Framed.
