Product Description
Shepard’s Modern Minstrels Poster: Large and important, ca. 1880/90’s paper litho advertising sign for Shepard’s Minstrels Show, featuring an outrageous comical stereotype scene of two early black baseball teams titled Black Brotherhood vs. The Blackville League (Strobridge Litho Co.). This powerful and very impressive large museum quality piece is bright, clean and very attractive in appearance (displays as a strong C. 8++), w/ some non-offensive trimming in the very outer border area (note: piece has had professional conservation w/ a little bit of very well done minor restoration).
