Sweet Lavender Tobacco Signs: Lot consists of a complete series of six early cardboard litho advertising signs from Sweet Lavender Tobacco Co. (Rochester, New York) each featuring comical black family hunting for possums (these are similar to the Currier & Ives’s Darktown series prints). Clean, bright and very attractive overall, w/ some outer edge wear on a couple of pieces. Nicely framed.
