Thomas Edison Phonograph Records Sign (Black Americana)

Thomas Edison Phonograph Records Sign (Black Americana)

$1,062.00

Nice, early paper litho sign for Thomas Edison Co.’s moulded cylinder records, featuring wonderful image of man playing banjo (he is seated inside brass horn of Co.’s early style phonograph). Clean, bright and excellent overall appearance (basically displays as a C. 8.5/+), although close examination will show some professional conservation and restoration (re-backed w/ some scattered touch ups in blue background and outer border / margin section), and repairs to bottom right “Real Thing” lettered area.
