Modoc Tobacco Wooden Bin: Large, very early, wood and heavy cardboard round store bin for Modoc brand tobacco (D.H. McAlpin & Co., New York) featuring incredible early stone litho label on front side (by Hatch Litho). A powerful and impressive looking piece that displays quite nicely, although there is some expected toning, light staining and little non-offensive light general scattered wear on front label (label C. 7.5+/8- overall), w/ a large currency type 1875 tax stamp on backside.
