Silas Jones Cigar Box: Early wooden cigar box for Silas Johnson brand, w/ great image of black men at table playing cards w/ highly racist description of history of Silas Johnson from occurrence at a Swell Coon Club (series 1901 tax stamp). Clean and excellent (C. 8+), w/ exception of a little non-offensive faint water staining in upper background area (lid no longer attached).
