Product Description
David’s Writing Fluid Ink Bottle: Early heavy amber glass master ink bottle w/ hand applied lip (1886 embossed patent date in base). Has gorgeous early multi-color litho label featuring New York skyline, w/ sailboats, bridge, etc. in background. Label has a little light soiling age toning and edge roughness, but overall is quite attractive. Inside top of spout on bottle has a couple of chip spots under the stopper which could be easily ground away by glass polisher. Was found still full (ink has been emptied out and there remains some dark residue on inside of bottle which needs cleaning out).

Size: 9.5 x 3.75
Date of Sale: 4/1/02
