Colton Miner’s Fruit Crate Labels: Lot consists of a fantastic group of five different, very early, fruit crate labels from the Colton Packing Co.’s (Colton, California) Miner’s Brand, w/ wonderful, early Western graphic images of trademark miner and his equipment (Schmidt Label & Litho Co. San Francisco, California). Pieces are attractive and display nicely (as a C. 8+/-) although close examination will reveal slight background toning, a little light edge chipping and minor scattered wear (large piece has archival tape repairs at top edge on backside).
