Turtle & Hughes Advertising Turtle: Small painted figural cast iron turtle w/ celluloid advertising shell at top for Turtle & Hughes, New York City electric supply Co. (probably ca. 1960, although it looks much earlier). Attractive piece, excellent overall, w/ a faint trace of staining.
