Beautiful, vintage ca. 1950’s railroad poster by illustrator Bern Hill, featuring the MKT (Missouri-Kansas-Texas) train station in San Antonio, TX. Hill was a trailblazing artist who has recently received a great deal of attention with collectors following a special segment on the Antique Road Show that showcased some of his innovative and historically important mid century illustrations. He is best known for the railroad theme illustrations he did for various railroad travel posters and for the General Motors Co.’s locomotive division.
