Salesman’s Sample Washing Machine: Outstanding, very early museum quality miniature wooden salesman’s sample washing machine for Hanlan brand washers, featuring a wonderful deer image of front (Patented AUG 16th 1881 on back). Has great early country paint surface and beautifully done folk art type detailing and design; w/ a moving interior (rocks back and forth) w/ an actual working wringer on side. Impressive, very high quality piece, that is excellent overall, w/ just the right amount of wear (C. 8+/-). (Note: this piece was previously on display at the National Heritage Museum).
