Midland Jump Spark Cigar Lighter: Early Midland brand Jump Spark countertop cigar lighter (Davenport Mfg. Co., Davenport, IA). Has wooden mahogany base that hold 4 large dry cell batteries inside w/ original nameplate in front. Pushing down on nickel-plated metal lever creates a steady stream of electrical sparks which lights the wick of lighter providing open flame for cigar. Excellent overall and all original, w/ some light wear from use to metal plating (has original instructions on base).
