Wonderful, vintage ca. 1930’s countertop wooden store display figure for Whitman’s brand Chocolates, featuring Co.’s trademark telegraph messenger kid, w/ section under arm for holding an actual product box. Front side of piece is clean, bright and displays very nicely, w/ a beautiful, rich patina to its all original paint surface (C. 8/+), w/ some paint wear to blue leg and base areas on backside. Display includes a vintage Whitman’s Co. product box which was added for effect (note: box not as early as display).
