Hoadley Cough Drops Scale: Unusual, very early, mechanical counter-top candy scale from E. J. Hoadley Co., Hartford, Connecticut Cough Drops Co. Neat, very high quality piece is all original and as found, w/ embossed E. J. Hoadley and Hartford, Conn. lettering all around its cast iron base. Has nice rich surface patina and is quite attractive overall (8+/-), w/ small fleabite at bottom left corner edge of base.
