Vintage, heavy, high quality figural chrome finished bronze auto hood ornament. Minerva was a prominent Belgian luxury auto maker from 1902-1938 and this mascot featuring Minerva, the Roman Goddess of Wisdom, was designed by the noted sculptor P. De Soette, and was the prize winning design in the 1921 Salon de L’Automobile mascot competition, and became the Co.’s official mascot from 1922-1933. Excellent overall, on its fancy radiator mounting base.

Minerva Luxury Auto Hood Ornament: Vintage, heavy, high quality figural chrome finished bronze auto hood ornament.
