Scarce and unusual, early figural cast iron hotel bell featuring hi-wheel bicycle & rider (twist bell mechanism). Displays quite well overall, w/ excellent detailing and a nice overall look, although up close examination will show it originally had a gold wash painted finish which was either stripped off or worn away long ago. Note: has a faint, fairly minor crack line at bottom edge of bikes wheel rim (not offensive or detracting and barely noticeable except on close examination).
