Vintage Indianapolis 500 Poster: Large, ca. 1953 paper poster advertising Monroe shock absorbers, featuring great image of the 1953 and 1954 Indy championship racer Bill Vukovich on front side; w/ images of the four fastest cards and drivers on backside. Front side has a little loss at top edges and a little minor wear at original factory fold lines, w/ a slight bit of non-offensive background toning and light scattered wear, but overall attractive and displays very nicely (as a C. 8+/-). Framed (done to allow viewing of both sides ). Note: Bill Vukovich after winning the 1953 and 1954 Indy 500 races was killed during the 1955 Indy 500 race while in the lead in a horrific chain reaction accident).
